9/30/23 Dear Timmy,
I often say I wish I had more pictures...which really means a desire to enjoy more time together...to feel that joy, warmth, comfort of your presence...to share a laugh, a hug.
Grateful to have this picture of you with your godson, my Bryan...along with this beautiful note. Thank you for loving me and loving my kids with ALL your heart...I never doubted that feeling for a minute! I know how much you wanted to be able to take them to the zoo, to the amusement park, beach, to the Bruins, I have done all these things with and for you.
Mom, Billy, Laurie and our families talk about you all the time...we carry your joy and remember the lessons learned from your life ...your love is with us in all we do with our family, friends, for others and in our work. We know you loved your family SO much!
As we conclude another September remembering you on your birthday month, wishing you were able to find peace and health...from your physical and emotion pain...relief from depression and anxiety, addiction...to find inner joy and peace here with us on this earth...we remember your love...your joy...your amazing smile and your huge heart.
One memory I have is all the times we spent talking and watching sports. I know many will relate. I especially loved our Monday night football fun bets after an hour conversation on my way home from a meeting. I looked up at the stars that first Monday after you passed and thought.."where are you?".
I know where you are now. You are in my heart...you are on my mind...you are leading my life...helping me still through good times and difficult ones...helping all of us blessed to know and love you! When I see my kids being there for each other...it is always a reminder of sibling strength and bonds.
The TPM Memorial Fund was created to give to others a bit of the brotherly love Timmy gave to us, the hand you gave when you saw someone in need, the hug and especially the humor and love you brought to a fun occasion, to a challenging and sad occasion.
The TPM Memorial Fund has done some great things in memory of Timmy, and we want to thank all of you who have been there for us and offered a helping hand.
Timmy:
In your memory, we have been able to support some really cool high school seniors...they have received scholarships to attend various colleges and have sent beautiful notes of appreciation...knowing someone cares.
In your memory, we have been able to provide education for those seeking to care, guide, and mentor those in recovery.
In your memory, we have been able to offer scholarships for those in recovery attending yoga teacher training. This training provides a practice which benefits us physically, mentally, spiritually--a practice that has enhanced my life.
In your memory, we will continue to offer support with the spirit you instilled in us--with love, laughter and genuine compassion.
We will continue to offer scholarships to high school seniors, to those in recovery seeking education in various fields.
This year we will also focus on adding some additional help to include: those affected by substance use disorder to receive support towards their Master’s Degree education endeavors and
to support those seeking to enter the mental health field with a focus on substance use.

Timmy will be gone from this earth 10 years this Thanksgiving. As we continue to grieve the tremendous loss...we continue to learn and love and find inspiration to carry on...remembering Timmy's life has meaning and it has purpose.
We have more to do...and we look forward to doing it in your honor, Timothy Patrick Morrissey!
“…What matters is that you remember we are stronger together, and taking a hand is just as important as offering one." (Paul Boynton)
With so much love,
Timmy's proud little sister forever, Leslie
